On behalf of the Lena Business and Professional Association and all our committee and business members, we would like to welcome you to the LBPA website as well as take this opportunity to explain our role in the community and how you play a part in that role.
The LBPA, simply put, serves the community by allowing local business to better serve the area. We are a spokesperson for business, promoting Lena by promoting the businesses and groups that make their homes here. The group also reaches out to new residents with welcome packets containing information and small gifts provided by our business professionals.
Businesses involved with the LBPA share a common goal of improving the local business climate. Some ways those goals are achieved are through business and community promotions, business assistance, and business advocacy.
We sponsor or host a number of events that encourage community involvement. In order to thrive, a community must take pride in itself. LBPA sponsored events and specialty promotions are a means of encouraging community involvement and instilling community pride.
Lastly, the organization is a vehicle for you. Publicity, networking, and sponsorship opportunities not only increase the visibility of your business or organization, but also encourage positive relationships.
